What personally identifiable information does Rent BC collect on the website?
We collect various types of personally identifiable information from visitors to the website. For instance, visitors may choose to become a member of the website in order to add their rental listing. To become a Member, visitors are required to sign in by providing their name and postal address. They will also be asked to create a password.
Landlords who wish to purchase listings from the website will also be asked to provide their credit card information.

What does Rent BC do with information collected on the website?
We will use personally identifiable information provided by visitors to fulfill the purpose for which such information was provided. For example account contact information is used to contact the user and credit card information is used when listings are being purchased.
Can I “opt-out” of receiving e-mail from Rent BC?
You may choose not to receive promotional emails from us by contacting us and requesting your wish to opt-out. Even if you elect to stop receiving promotional e-mails from us, we will still contact you to tell you important information about the status of your listing.
Does Rent BC share visitor information with other companies?
We will not intentionally share your personally identifiable information with unaffiliated entities. We may share personally identifiable information with companies with whom we have a marketing or other business relationship.
Certain activities and services available on the website are provided by third parties. For example, the mapping, moving advice and job search services are provided by third parties whom we have a relationship with.
